Loikamania 162: Current Events

Event comics. I love them. They’re fun, they’re exciting, and they shake things up a lot. In this week’s podcast, I geek out over the three big events currently running. First, I chat with my buddy Kevin Spooner about Jonathan Hickman’s cosmic epic, Infinity. Then, listen to me and Angela Paman be cautiously optimistic about Forever Evil. For the main event, Eugene ‘Adam Warrock’ Ahn and Meredith Placko join me to really geek out about Battle of the Atom and X-books in general. A fun show filled with SPOILERS. This is your warning!

Loikamania 095: The AVX Special

This week, Pat is joined by Travis Holyfield as we talk about Marvel’s big summer event, Avengers vs. X-Men. We start off with a debate on which side of the fight is truly right, with Pat representing the X-Men, and Travis rooting for those gaudily clad fascists known as the Avengers. We follow it up by discussing the entirety of act 1 of the event, talking about the plot, our favorite bits, and some tie-in talk as well. A very fun and spirited debate, so check it out!
